Teamwork in Year 4: From rainforests to LEGO to X-Factor
Year 4 have thrown themselves into a range of learning activities they missed earlier in the year due to COVID-19 – showing excellent teamwork and school spirit!
A highlight was the students' visit to Minnamurra Rainforest. Year 4 listened to a presentation on the importance of national parks, worked together to create maps of the rainforest, stood quietly and listened to the sounds of the rainforest. They then finished the day with a challenging trek up a steep path to the waterfalls.
Meanwhile, in Science and Technology, both classes showed excellent group work skills as they worked together to communicate and make different LEGO creations to deepen their understanding of the importance of providing clear steps in a process to help their coding.
Many of the students also let their creative talents shine in the school's annual 'SPAP X-Factor Performances' [pictured above]. They loved encouraging each other and watching all the performances.
